Aviation Maintenance Instructor
Applications are being accepted for an aviation maintenance instructor with an employment start date of August 1, 2014. The position will remain open until filled.

Requirements: FAA certified A & P mechanic; bachelor’s degree or plan to attain one; documented plan to attain trade and industrial certification; current Oklahoma teaching certificate, or eligibility to attain one. Preference given for successful teaching experience and in FAA Part 147 aviation maintenance. Good communication skills are required. Military experience preferred.

Duties: Responsible for the education of secondary and adult students including planning, organizing, directing and supervising students in developing knowledge, skills and work habits. Work with program coordinator to maintain and upgrade curriculum IAW requirements of the FAA Part 147 aviation maintenance schools. Work closely with industry partners, both civilian and military.

Teaching contract of 11 months each year; salary commensurate with experience and qualifications; fully paid health insurance and retirement benefits.
