SALARY: $55,746-$57,116/Year

WORK PERIOD: M-F, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.


General Job Description

Coordinates career awareness projects and Summer Youth Academy. Initiates, develops, and coordinates educator professional development activities. Effectively writes and manages federal grants.

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Credentials: Current Oklahoma teaching credential - preferred

Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Special Knowledge, Skill, or Ability:

Thorough knowledge and experience with federal grant and acquisition management

Must be able to make a presentation to an individual or group

Able to organize and coordinate multi-faceted program

Must be able to use Word at an intermediate level of proficiency

Must be efficient and effective in budget management

Multi-task oriented

Be customer focused

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Satisfactory personal conduct and integrity

Ability to work well with others

Reliable, dependable, and punctual attendance

Experience: Must have a minimum of three years recent work experience as a teacher, counselor, or educational program coordinator. Experience planning and organizing large events and demonstrated grant writing experience a plus.
