Industrial Technology Instructor

Idabel Campus

 Primary Function: 

This position is responsible for the use of current instructional technology to develops, organizes, coordinate and deliver an Industrial Technology Program. The successful candidate will possess a high level of skills in PLC’s, Hydraulics/Pneumatics and Industrial Electricity is required.  Background in mechanical drives, fluid power, welding and blueprint reading is desirable.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must possess or qualify for a Provisional or Standard Teaching Certificate issued by the Oklahoma State Department of Education and approved by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.  A high school diploma/equivalent is required; Associate Degree or Technical certificate and Career Readiness Certification is preferred.  The successful candidate must have three (3) years teaching or industry experience performing industrial maintenance including electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Demonstration of skills (oral, written & presentation) will be required.

Starting Date:                  September 10, 2014  (10-month position teaching position)

Salary:                             Based on KTC Salary Schedule.  New employee will be employed initially on a Temporary Contract.  (School Laws of Oklahoma 70-6-101.23)
