Partnership is key and Eastern Oklahoma Technology Center (EOC) has kept partnerships at the forefront since the establishment of their Business Development Center (BDC) in 2010. For the past year, the BDC has been seeking the right client to fill a newly established business incubator vacancy; through connections with Tracy Mosley, President/CEO of the Choctaw Chamber of Commerce, EOC has done just that. "I was introduced to Donna Morris of BBH Consulting as a referral by Mosley, and from the beginning, felt this would be just the right client to grow and flourish in the EOC incubator." says Justin Smedley, Director of EOC Business and Industry Services.

The local BBH Consulting Company, operated by Donna Morris, has outgrown their home-based business, but their national affiliation is with a parent company in Clearfield, Utah, where BBH is a minority woman owned SBA 8(a) certified company owned by Barbara J. Hansen. Morris is excited about the possibilities that lie in the resources and support of the EOC Business Development Center. Morris states, "We believe that with the support of the BDC here in Choctaw, our company will help create technical jobs for veterans and retiring civilians. In addition, the BDC can help BBH Consulting to extend to markets outside of the federal government in order to help prepare us for the graduation from the [incubator] program."

Julie Farmer, Oklahoma Bid Assistance Network (OBAN) Coordinator, EOC stated that not only do they already have successful contracts but they are looking to OBAN on subs and have already used one of EOC OBAN clients, an electrician on a bid for FAA.

With the addition of a regional field office in Eastern Oklahoma County, BBH employs 100+ technical professionals, providing highly technical and analytical personnel who are proficient in providing Engineering Management, Program Management, Project Management, Configuration Management, Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS), Research and Analysis, training and mentoring focusing support on the Department of Defense. "The goal of BBH IT Group is to grow and establish our skills sets in the markets located at Tinker AFB, FAA and other prime contractor companies in the OKC area" says Morris, and "BBH consists of professional, determined and motivated individuals who work together to achieve success for all stakeholders involved within a project, proposal or even a simple daily task. Our core concepts are based on the combination of skill, talent, desire and attitude.
