The Oklahoma Procurement Technical Assistance Center and the U.S. Small Business Administration, Oklahoma District Office, present “How to Become a Certified Woman, Minority, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business for Government Contracting.” The state of Oklahoma, local cities and the federal government offer special set-aside government contracting opportunities for businesses properly certified as being owned by women, minorities, disabled U.S. veterans and economically disadvantaged individuals for contracts for goods produced and business services offered that are available for small businesses of all sizes. Come let presenters Dawn Brakey of the Oklahoma PTAC office and Stephanie Farris of the Oklahoma District SBA Office explain to you the various small business certifications available, SBA programs offering support and other local and federal free resources to assist you with all aspects of government contracting.
