A marketing assistant provides administrative support of a marketing department by providing assistance with publications, following up with vendors, organizing company marketing products and event planning. A marketing assistant must also have in-depth company knowledge and excellent customer service skills. Serves as liaison between the company and advertising agencies, freelance talent, print suppliers, and other marketing services. They may prepare company newsletters, prepare press releases and event announcements. Update company news & headlines in the corporate website. Assists in the development of promotional strategies and product development.
