Remote/Field Production (IT)
This course introduces the students to all aspects of the remote or field production environment, from pre-production, to live production, and post-production, gaining hands-on experience in various remote or field production roles.

Produce a video production using single- or multi-camera techniques in an off-site field location.

Perform basic remote or field personnel positions that may include, but not limited to, producer, coordinating producer, technical director, director, audio, camera operator, graphics, teleprompter, floor director, instant replay, site manager, engineering and playback.

The student will identify and model behaviors of responsible and ethical use of technology. In remote production there will be an emphasis on live performance and production.

The student will demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and as an effective leader.

The student will demonstrate the ability to problem solve under pressure within a group.

Demonstrate ways to communicate effectively and efficiently through the process of preproduction, production and post-production in a remote/field environment.

In remote production environments, produce "live" events.

Create and participate in remote/field project(s) to be produced for a local cable channel, website, or other organization.

Demonstrate acceptable production workplace skills.

Comply with all remote/field production guidelines.
