Bake Shop Principles
This course teaches the student the terms and equipment that will be used in baking. They will also learn the various types of mixing methods.

- Demonstrate safety and sanitation while preparing baked goods.
- Identify utensils and equipment used in preparing bake shop goods.
- Demonstrate knife skills, hand tool and equipment operation.
- Identify baking methods.
- Identify baking ingredients and their purposes.
- Measure ingredients correctly.
- Apply basic math skills to recipe conversions.
