This course explains the four basic types of seasoning ingredients and the reasons why they are used in food.

- Identify and use common seasoning ingredients
- Differentiate between seasoning and flavoring food

- Prepare and use aromatic combinations
- Identify and use condiments
- Identify and use nuts and seeds
