This course will cover historical and legal foundations for special needs, roles, responsibilities, ethical principles and professional conduct. It will focus on HEP participation, disability awareness and learning strategies, planning, problem solving and communication, data collection and IEP progress monitoring, safe and healthy learning environments as well as behavior strategies.
