Clinical Lab Sciences Orientation
This course serves as an orientation to fundamental laboratory skills and knowledge used in a variety of medical laboratory careers and training facility policies and requirements. Students will be expected to adhere to professional expectations of behavior and dress on a daily basis, and participate in the Career Tech Student Organization Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA). Through participation in HOSA and other opportunities, each student will participate in community outreach/awareness and field experiences within the medical lab sciences career. Students will also demonstrate a working knowledge of common labware as well as quality assurance procedures.
