Satisfactory completion of Core Curriculum, Core Anatomy and Physiology and Core Medical Terminology.
-Describe the operation of a 12-lead electrocardiograph machine.
-Explain the Einthoven triangle related to the cardiac system.
-Identify the anatomic position of each of the chest leads.
-Prepare a patient for a 12-Lead EKG.
-Maintain the EKG machine.
-Maintain EKG tracings in the patient's chart.
