Introduction to Occupational Therapy Aide
This course introduces the field of occupational therapy. The student will learn the history of the profession, the professionals associated with occupational therapy, the common employment settings of occupational therapy and the types of patients who come to occupational therapy.

-Discuss some of the desirable personal characteristics and technical skills required of an occupational therapy aide.

-Identify several potential duties of the occupational therapy aide.

-List potential employers of the occupational therapy aide.

-Identify common conditions and impairments requiring occupational therapy.
