3D Rendering and Design Visualization

Students create, generate and integrate 3D computer graphics and renderings. Emphasis is on using application software in the development of modeling logos, 3D scenes, textures, lighting, atmosphere effects and basic animation.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

-Construct basic 3D wireframe, 3D faces, and mesh objects
-Create and modify 3D objects
-Develop, modify, and utilize solid modeling practices
-Utilize standard rendering commands for presentation graphics
-Develop industry standard drawings utilizing 3D models and practices


The total grade will be determined by daily grades, written exams, hands-on performance evaluations, projects, and demonstrated employability skills (i.e. attendance, self-management, attitude, responsibility, social skills, safety, teamwork, appropriate dress, etc.).
