Aircraft Electronics Basic Circuit Calulations
30.00
This course will study the basic facts and general relationships for calculating Direct Current (DC) and Alernating Current (AC). Calculating DC and AC measurements will be performed using voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and ammeters.
Jeff Huffman, TDL Career Cluster Team Leader, 405-743-5145

Students will identify the relationship of basic facts and state general principles for DC and AC circuits. This will include

-volts
-amps
-OHMs
-watts
-phase angle
-frequency
-capacity resistance
-inductive reactance
-power factor
-period
-peak voltage
-effective voltage
-inducance
-resonance
-capacitance
-impedance
-true power
-apparent power

Students will determine the calculation measurements on the following equipment:

-voltmeter
-ohmmeter
-oscilloscope
-ammeter
