In this course the students will identify and inspect air conditioning and cooling system components. Students will learn to detect collision damage and how to remove and replace the components. Students will become knowledgeable in the operation of the air conditioning system and the evacuation and recharge of the system. Students will learn about the operation of the cooling system and how to service the components. Also covered in this course is the identification and selection of proper refrigerant and coolant. Students will also become aware of other coolers, such as transmission and power steering coolers.
