Aviation Applied Math
Students will use the principles of simple machines, sound, fluid and heat dynamics. The relationship between pressure, volume and temperature of air masses and liquid will be covered. Students will study basic aerodynamics and the effect of atmospheric temperature, humidity, pressures and forces on aircraft airfoil surfaces. The fundamentals of mathematics in the aviation maintenance profession will be taught.

-Applied algebra

-Applied geometry and trigonometry.

The competencies will be measured by hands on, oral, and written exams, and through proctored online testing will be used to assess each student's competency.

Credit for the FAA equivalent courses in Generals and Airframe leading to Aircraft Mechanics License with Airframe Certification.
