Aviation Sheet Metal Fabrication Tools and Equipment
Focus will be on drilling procedures and riveting of airframe materials. Rivet layout, layout of bending sheet stock, and sheet metal loads will be discussed. Students will fabricate, inspect and repair aircraft sheet metal structures.

-Sheet metal forming tools

-Basic rivet techniques

-Advanced riveting techniques

The competencies will be measured by hands on, oral, and written exams, and through proctored online testing.

Credit for the FAA equivalent courses in Generals and Airframe leading to Aircraft Mechanics License with Airframe Certification.
