Aviation Sheet Metal Layout & Processes
Focus will be on riveting, layout and bending of sheet metal stock. Students will learn to use conventional and unconventional fasteners.

-Rivet layout

-Sheet metal structural loading and fabrication

-Sheet metal repair procedures

-Usage and determining requirements for unconventional fasteners

The competencies will be measured by hands on, oral, and written exams, and through proctored online testing.

Credit for the FAA equivalent courses in Generals and Airframe leading to Aircraft Mechanics License with Airframe Certification.
