Turbine engines will be disassembled, inspected, repaired as needed and reassembled with emphasis on technical manual usage.

-Overhaul turbine engine

-Inspect, check, service, and repair turbine engines and turbine engine installations

-Install, troubleshoot, and remove turbine engines
Written and practical evaluations will be performed at the Part 147 AMTS. Upon successful completion of the AMTS requirements, students will have the opportunity to test with the FAA for licensure certification.
This course aligns with FAA Part 147 certified Aviation Maintenance Technician School (AMTS) curriculum requirements. Teaching of this course by any entity other than a FAA 147 certified AMTS does not constitute FAA certification. Furthermore, each AMTS must have its curriculum approved by the FAA in its entirety, identifying the hours of instruction, order of instruction, subjects prescribed by Part 147, practical application projects, scheduling of tests, grading criteria, and makeup provisions.
