In this course, students define and demonstrate excellent customer service skills, develop listening skills, develop telephone skills and learn to deal with difficult customers.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

- Identify principles of excellent customer service.

- Demonstrate excellent customer service.

- Practice listening skills.

- Identify and demonstrate effective customer service skills through correct telephone techniques.

- Deal appropriately with difficult customers.


The total grade will be determined by daily grades, written exams,
hands-on performance evaluations, projects and demonstrated
employability skills (i.e. attendance, self-management, attitude,
responsibility, social skills, safety, teamwork, appropriate dress,
etc.)
