Forensics Internship
The criminal forensics internship provides the student with basic law enforcement and forensic science knowledge and practical application of communications and procedures. All evaluations are competency based.

- Experience the activities of a working forensic laboratory or other law enforcement entity.

- Participate in lab activities in the lab classroom or in industry.

- Help maintain a clean lab in the lab classroom and/or in industry.

- Work on various case studies as an individual and in teams.

- Demonstrate teamwork.

- Demonstrate ability to communicate and resolve conflicts with a diverse workforce.

- Discuss the importance of cross-functional teams in achieving project goals.

- Demonstrate knowledge of leadership skills.

- Build interpersonal skills with individuals and other team members.

- Identify and demonstrate positive work behaviors and personal qualities.

- Research degree requirements in this field.

- Finalize personal career plan to meet career goals and objectives.

- Demonstrate knowledge of the relationship between lifelong learning and career development.
