Gemology III and Colored Stones II
This course continues to expose students to colored stones and their identification. The student will learn additional information about gemstones, sythetics and treatments. Advance gemological testing procedures and equipment are introduced and students will have more lab time to identify gemstones. Basic gemstone grading and pearl grading will also be covered. An introduction to the workings of a retail jewelry establishment will be discussed.
