This course includes an overview of embroidery production. Safe operation and maintenance of commercial and home embroidery machines are practiced. Skills in hooping, design orientation, and placement on a variety of fabrics will be performed. Students will develop designs from existing patterns, learn to use a scanner, and create new designs by digitizing artwork.
