The student will be able to explain simple, parallel, and rolling offsets, setback and travel, calculating offsets, weights and measures, measure area and volume and work with temperature and pressure. Students will be able to work with simple machines (levers, pulleys, wedges, wheels and axles). Business math including accounting, estimating a project and cost control will also be introduced in this course.
