This course focuses on the unique properties, characteristics, and everyday uses of liquid petroleum gases and provides emergency responders the opportunity to play out tactical considerations within various scenarios. In order to understand the hazards and risks of different types of propane emergencies, students must be familiar with the physical properties and behavioral characteristics of propane, as well as the basic design and construction features of propane tanks.
