Greenhouse/Landscape Assistant
This major introduces students enrolled in the Service Careers majors to the safety practices, tools and equipment, and skills required to work as an assistant in the landscape/greenhouse industry. Students learn grounds keeping duties such as pruning, edging, mowing, and seasonal applications. Students will also be introduced to the safety procedures and skills required to conduct minor maintenance and repairs to small gas engines. Students will also learn employability skills, leadership, and personal development.
