Cyber Security Specialist (Networking Emphasis)
This major prepares students to plan, coordinate and implement enterprise networks and security measures for networking systems. Students will learn the basics of computer workstation repair and maintenance as well as operating system and software support. The student will then be introduced to basic security principles as well as risk assessment and management, security architectures, incident handling, disaster recovery and secure systems administration. Students gain skills required for CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft and Novell certifications as well as CNSS certificates 4011, 4012, 4013, and 4014.
