The Voice of Siri to Talk Tech at CareerTech’s BPA Student Conference

The Voice of Siri to Talk Tech at CareerTech’s BPA Student Conference

Susan Bennett is the voice of Apple's Siri.

If you ask your iPhone or iPad, “Siri, where will you be March 6?” she’ll probably give you your location. After all, it’s about you, not her.

But if you really want to know, Siri -- or at least the voice behind the virtual assistant -- will be in Tulsa for the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference.

Susan Bennett, who has provided the voice for Siri since its introduction in 2011, will give the keynote presentation to about 2,100 students gathered for the BPA conference March 6-8. BPA is the Oklahoma CareerTech student organization affiliated with business, marketing and information technology education.

Bennett is a voice actor who is also the voice of Delta Airlines and has voiced productions for brands such as Coca Cola, Discovery Channel, McDonald’s, USA Today and the Cartoon Network.

Oklahoma BPA currently has 6,278 members across 316 chapters, which ranks third nationally in secondary membership. Its mission is to contribute to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic and technological skills. It is one of seven CareerTech co-curricular student organizations.

Bennett will be available for interviews March 6 from 10-11 a.m. BPA state officers T.J. Clark and Tiffany Windholz will also be available for questions.
