Mike Hoehner

Mike Hoehner is an inspiring leader who connects with his audience through his “how can I help you” attitude. He has a drive and passion to cultivate people’s strengths, drawing on years of experience in developing, mentoring, and coaching future leaders.

With more than 25 years of staffing industry experience at Express Employment Professionals, Hoehner is the Marketing Special Projects Manager. For the first twenty years of his career at Express, he worked in accounting. As the Director of Franchise Accounting, Hoehner helped develop systems for automated child support and garnishment levying, unclaimed property reporting, payroll check reconciliation, commission payment, and more. During this time, he became a Certified Payroll Professional of the American Payroll Association.

In 2011, Hoehner decided to expand his career and accepted a new career opportunity to lead the Express Clydesdales marketing team. In this role, he provides innovative marketing strategies for the Express Clydesdales program.

Hoehner earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma. While in college, he volunteered as a little league wrestling coach and later at the local YMCA coaching seasonal sports. In 2010, Hoehner founded a basketball club in his community, growing from 100 children on 10 teams to more than 1,000 children on nearly 75 teams. During this time, Hoehner served as league commissioner for the Northwest Basketball Association of Oklahoma City.

He has spoken to a wide variety of audiences including educators, counselors, youth groups, adults reentering the workforce, financial literacy organizations, and classroom students.

In addition to formal presentations and workshops, Hoehner has mastered the art of being an emcee at many Express Employment Professionals events, where he is consistently rated among the best by attendees.
