Steve is a native Oklahoman, born and raised in Tulsa, currently residing in Edmond.  He is a graduate of Tulsa - Webster High School and Northeastern State with a degree in Interdisciplinary studies focusing on Business, Technology, Behavioral Sciences, and Education (or as he refers to it, a degree in technical sales).  He and his wife Kristin have been married 21 years and have 3 children, Kailin (20), Jake (16) and Corinne (9).  The past 15 years of his career have been spent at Avaya where he served as a Project Manager, Senior Sales Engineer, and most recently as the Regional Engineering Leader for the Western US.  Currently, he is the Technical Strategist for Microsoft supporting Enterprise customers in Oklahoma City.

He and his family love to travel, and that travel usually involves adventure and food.  In his very limited spare time, he enjoys rooting for the OKC Thunder, the OSU Cowboys (Go Pokes!), the Dallas Cowboys, and whoever OU happens to be playing.

 Workshop Description:

Steve will be sharing five lessons, or strategies, that have been essential in his career, and five areas where Microsoft is helping to shape the future.  Our mission at Microsoft is to help every person and every organization on the planet achieve more.  We will take a look at Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Mixed Reality, IoT, and Accessibility.  In each, we will touch on examples where businesses are using the technology to impact their own organizations with a few demonstrations along the way.
