Officer Application

Applicants for State Executive Council must submit a completed application packet by Feb. 8, 2019. Late submissions will NOT be accepted.

Applicants who meet the guidelines for State Executive Council will be invited to interview from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 27, 2019, at the Oklahoma Department of CareerTech in Stillwater.

Additional Notes

  • Please be sure and read ALL guidelines in the Oklahoma BPA State Executive Council Application packet. Pay close attention to the "BPA Executive Council Code of Ethics" and the "State Executive Council Important Dates." It is mandatory that all candidates be available on the dates listed to be eligible to run for state office. In the event that elected officers become unavailable to attend the required meetings, they may be removed from office.
  • Each candidate should be prepared to deliver a campaign speech of no more than 90 seconds during the Opening General Session of State Leadership Conference.
  • If you are elected as a State Executive Council member, you will be required to pay a $125 uniform deposit. A refund will be issued once the term of office has expired and the BPA uniform blazer has been returned in good condition. The full deposit will be forfeited should the BPA uniform blazer be lost or damaged or if an officer is removed from office for any reason.
