Congratulations To Oklahoma FCCLA at the National Leadershiop Conference - Nashville, TN

Drummond Student Named National Officer. Alexis Peeper, Drummond, was elected as a national officer. Her position will be vice president of community service. Carolyn Cotton, former FCCLA adviser and northeast program specialist, received the National Honorary Member Award. Dr. Paula Tripp, OSU HDFS department, received the National Distinguished Service Award. Other achievements include: Cherokee FCCLA placed third in the nation in Knowledge Matters. Caney FCCLA is the national STOP the Violence winner. Broken Arrow FCCLA is the national STOP the Violence runner-up. Okay FCCLA senior parliamentary team placed first and the junior parliamentary team placed second in the nation. Francis Tuttle FCCLA culinary arts team placed third in the nation. Oklahoma STAR Event participants received 103 Gold, 43 Silver and 15 Bronze medals. 43 teams/individuals placed in the top 10;25 were in the top 5. Great Job, Oklahoma FCCLA!
