HOSA - Future Health Professionals

Purpose

The purpose of the HOSA organization is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition, which is an integral part of the health science education instructional program.

Mission

The mission of HOSA is to empower future health professionals to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration and experience.

Membership

HOSA has more than 200,000 members in approximately 4,100 chartered chapters in 53 state associations, including  American Samoa, Canada, Germany, Guam, Italy, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Oklahoma has a membership of more than 6,000, including middle school, secondary, postsecondary and collegiate students; professional members; and alumni members.

HOSA assists members to achieve the following:
