Good Morning----

The weather is getting cooler which means HOSA Fall Leadership Conference and the election of the new state officer team is just around the corner!

  1. All students and advisors attending Fall leadership Conference must be affiliated HOSA members.  Instructions on how to affiliate you and your students as members is located at this site----
  2. Online registration for conference will be open Monday, October 9-Friday, October 13.  You will provide their t-shirt size and local chapter office they hold.

4.  “Be The Change” for NAMI
(National Alliance on Mental Illness)-a great way to start your HOSA year with collecting change for our national service project.  Bring your collected money to FLC.  The chapter who donates the most money will receive a framed set of HOSA posters.
5.  The ballot at FLC
will consist of:   (one ballot per chapter)
     a.  Trading Pin Designs (vote for one)
     b.  President (vote for one)
     c.  Secondary Representative (vote for one)
     d.  Postsecondary Representative (vote for one)
     e.  Bylaw Changes and development of Policy and Procedure Manual (vote yes or no)
have your students review the pin designs, state officer slate, and bylaw changes prior to conference so they will be ready to vote.  We will be voting through Electionbuddy again this year.  You will receive a voting login code at registration.  The ballot link will be on the OKHOSA app therefore you or your students MUST download the app in order to vote.
7.  There will be two opportunities to pick up your registration information:
     a.  October 22nd - FLC Packet/T-Shirt Pick Up/Registration:
7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
     b.  October 23rd -  FLC Packet/T-Shirt Pick Up/Registration
: 7:45 a.m.-8:45 a.m.
