Good Morning,

I wanted to review the information shared in the Zoom meeting yesterday……VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  1.  Anatomage Tournament-flyers, promo video and guidelines linked to OK HOSA website
  2. Competitive Event Judges are needed—please refer to Email #3 on OK HOSA website for Judges letter and link to Sign Up Genius
  3. Conference Registration is February 15-19.  Please refer to Conference Registration Information on the OK HOSA website for information and instructions.
  4. Member Email addresses—the email address linked to their membership affiliation is where their competitive event log on credentials will be sent.  Please go onto your affiliation and double check the emails for spelling.  If you did not include an email address or need it changed, please contact me ASAP.
  5. All HATS (Barbara James Service Award and HOSA Service Project), Advisor recognition, Star Chapter, Walk registrations and CE Tallo submissions are DUE on MARCH 10

  7. Additional Event Information (Round 2) for Medical Spelling, HOSA Bowl, and Biomed Debate- now linked to OK HOSA website

  1. Will ID be required for competitive event?  ID will be required to be shown for the Round 2 Zoom components
  2. What will the Round 2 process look like?  Each event may look alittle different.  BioMed Debate, HOSA Bowl, Medical Spelling Event Modifications have been linked to the OK HOSA website.  Detail for the clinical skill events process is still being finalized.  As soon as the details are finalized, I will share with you.
  3. Are Code of Conduct and Medical Liability forms required?  No
  4. ILC—Virtual vs Live?  National HOSA has not made an announcement
  5. Are Personal Care and Life Support Skills test resources the same as Nursing Assisting and CPR?-Yes
  6. What is the SLC attire for competitive events-videoed or live?  Since typically the attire is the HOSA polo given at registration and students will not have them in time, I suggest the students look nice.  Scrubs would be appropriate.  Dress points will not be deducted nor bonus points added.
  7. Will we get the rating sheets?  No
