Welcome back from Spring Break!

1. If you have any drops or substitutions, please email me the information.

2. HOSA Happenings and Silent Auction items will be submitted at conference registration.

3. Photo ID - all students are required to show their acceptable PHOTO ID at their competitive event.  The Photo ID requirement is linked to the OK HOSA website.

4. Silent Auction - we will be hosting a Silent Auction activity again this year.  All proceeds will be donated to the HOSA Service Project, National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.  We are asking that each chapter bring something (basket, individual items, etc.) to HOSA HQ.

5. Silent Auction tickets - at conference will be CASH ONLY.

6. HOSA Store - will be open and now accepting cash, check, debit/credit cards.

7. New Advisor Pass - If you are a new HOSA Advisor (within the last two years), please stop by HOSA HQ for a New Advisor Pass. This pass will allow you to observe competitive events on Monday and Tuesday.  Please take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the events!

8. NICE jeans with the conference polo can be worn to Opening Session on Monday if your students donate $1 to NPCF - advisors please bring the money to HOSA HQ.

9. Conference Registration - Sunday (7:30pm-8:30pm) and Monday (7:00am-12noon) in Noble and Northpark Conference Rooms.

10. The following recognitions will be awarded during the Opening Session on Monday, April 8.                    i.     Outstanding Secondary HOSA Advisor.
      ii.     Outstanding Postsecondary HOSA Advisor
     iii.     Outstanding “Rookie” HOSA Advisor
     iv.     Barbara James Service Award
      v.     MRC Volunteer Recognition
     vi.     Star Chapter Award
     vii.    Healthcare Issues Exam
11. The following recognitions will be awarded during the Award Session on Wednesday, April 10.
       i.      Breaking Traditions Award
      ii.      HOSA Service Project
     iii.      Outstanding HOSA Chapter
     iv.      HOSA Happenings
      v.      Outstanding Administrator
     vi.      Rebecca Needham Anderson Memorial Scholarship. 

12. Opening Session Keynote - This year’s keynote speaker is Ms. Jill Donovan, founder of Rustic Cuff.  There are two simple words that describe Jill, “passionate” and “purposeful”.  Please attend Opening Session to hear a passionate and purposeful message from Jill.

13. Career and College EXPO - for the first time, we will be hosting a Career and College EXPO on Monday, April 8, in University A.  Once students or advisors visit all the vendors and get their “Passport” marked, they can enter for a chance to win a Google Home Mini.  Please encourage your students to visit the EXPO!  The winners will be announced at the Award Session on Wednesday, April 10.
