Projects and Unique Attributes

Since 1966, SOTC has provided exceptional quality training and services to its customers. Training is tailored to fit the need of the student, whether it is for a short - or long-term commitment. The unemployed and underemployed enroll to obtain skills needed for their dream jobs, while companies send their current workers for additional training to enhance their skills.

SOTC utilizes state-of-the-art equipment, modern classroom facilities and highly qualified instructors to quickly deliver targeted training in a variety of disciplines. Some of the newer programs include Mechatronics and Design/Fabrication to address the automated manufacturing industry's needs as well as Anatomy/Physiology and Therapy Technician in the health sector.

In recent years, SOTC has embraced several quality initiatives related to continuous improvement. Excellence has been validated by multiple awards from the Oklahoma Quality Award Foundation, SREB Tech Centers That Work and the Best Companies Group ‘Best Places to Work’.

District Population and Partner Schools

District population is 70,700 based on 2010 census data. School districts served include; Ardmore, Davis, Dickson, Fox, Greenville, Healdton, Lone Grove, Mannsville, Marietta, Plainview, Ringling, Springer, Sulphur, Thackerville, Wilson and Zaneis.
