Projects and Unique Attributes

Tri County Technology Center (TCTC) made significant progress in fiscal year 2011 toward the goals in its Vision 2020 plan.

The technology center completed its third year of the plan, which outlines four goals intended to place TCTC among the highest performing organizations in the country.

TCTC’s The Strategy Center, developed to ensure economic vitality for the communities TCTC serves, has been a resounding success with the corporate community.

The technology center continues to practice its vision of “Inspiring Success Through Life Changing Learning Experiences” by helping students achieve their personal goals. TCTC’s completion/retention rate of 95 percent in FY11 is among the highest completion/retention rates at Oklahoma technology centers.

In FY11, Tri County’s full-time graduates earned an average starting wage of $13.10 per hour, $1.18 more than the technology center’s goal. Tri County also broke ground and began construction on the Pawhuska Business Development Center in FY11. And for the third year in a row, Tri County has been named one of the Best Places to Work in Oklahoma.
